My first week was great and last Wednesday we had a speaker his name was Steve Jacobs. He showed us different websites that would help peoplewith learning disabilities. He showed us websites that people with hearing and site disabilities could use in order to use computers. He showed us a website that would help people to better underdstandmath with visuals. He showed us a website that blind people could use by hearing of different other sounds and stuff.
The people that I have met along wiht Mr Drew, Ms Nneka, and Ms Jackie was my math teachers Mr Harris and Mr Johnson. Mr Harris is teaching me and helpping me to better understand math problems and a easier way of solving them.
I am very happy to be here in this program and I am very excited. I wake up in the mornings looking forward to coming here. I am having fun so far and the people are very nice and friendly and I like hanging around them. I like my new friends Jenice, Nino, Carlos, Leon, and Shardel thay are cool.
I look forward to learning and understanding my math better so that I can get a higher score than I did when I 1st started in this program. I also look forward to learningmore about the IT field and would be happy when this programis over with so that I can show one of my friends what I have learned during my summer here at Lead the Way.
